About Esan Peoples Congress (EPC)
Esan Peoples Congress is a collection of Esan sons and daughters in the United States of America (USA), including non-Esan spouses and general supporters of our vision, mission, and goals. Our purpose is to build a strong relationship among people of Esan heritage in Diaspora, specifically the USA, and to bring enlightenment, strategic discuss, development, and support to issues pertaining to the Esanland through our collective efforts. In addition, the EPC will make decisions that are intended to be of the best interest and benefit to Esan people and Esanland at all times. Formed in 2019 by key Esan sons and daughters in the USA, the Congress is made up of affiliate chapters of Esan Associations located in various states and regions in the USA. EPC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) association that relies solely on donations and philanthropic contributions.
EPC Accomplishments To Date
As part of its mission to provide social and health-related welfare support to Esan sons and daughters, EPC took the sole responsibility for the treatment of Ms. Esose Ehis, who had cancer of the eye and needed emergency support in April 2021 to undergo surgery and chemotherapy treatment at Otibho Specialist Teaching Hospital, Irrua.
Affiliate Chapters
EPC has commenced the official shortlist of affiliate chapters that have voted and expressed willingness to be official members. Official registration of these chapters will commence after its General Assembly face-to-face strategic meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Attendance will be open to interim Executive members, key leaders, and general members of affiliate associations.
